Biography

Stavros PAPASSAVAS

• Sculptor and Painter.
• Known by the artistic name STAVROS (STAVROS).
• Stavroupoli Xanthi, December 12, 1928.
Avlonari of Evia, January 27, 2018.
• Married to Marie Boussart – Papassavas.
• He also acquired French Citizenship, under the presidency of Jacques Chirac.

Studies
• School of Music of the Athens Conservatory specializing in Violin (1947).
• Athens School of Fine Arts (A.S.K.T.), with sculptor Michalis Tombros as professor (1950 – 1954).
• At the same time, he did his military service, with special permission to attend courses at ASKT (Athens).
• Ecole des Beaux Arts – Paris, France (1955 – 1957).
• Master Class, Academy “Grande Chaumière” in Montparnasse, Paris, France (1955).
